No. They open your link, pick a gift and press “I’ll buy this”. Only you need an account to make the list.
Can I add things from any shop?
Yes. Add the product link from any shop, with its name and price.
How do people avoid buying the same thing?
When someone presses “I’ll buy this”, the gift is marked as bought for everyone else. Afterwards you can see who got what, ready for thank-you notes.
How does a group gift work?
Friends pledge an amount towards one gift and pay you directly through your PayPal, Monzo or bank link. We never handle the money.
Is it really free?
Yes. Some shop links are affiliate links, so a retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to the buyer. It never changes what’s on your list.
Can I choose my own link?
Yes. Something like giftit.today/emma-turns-30, easy to say out loud or put in a card.
